Wood is one of the most important raw materials at Unilin Group. Our wood doesn’t come from just anywhere. A large proportion is actually reclaimed wood. Alexander Kint, Business Manager Wood, explains what this means and why it is a sustainable solution.
Explained: wood streams at Unilin Group
The wood Unilin Group uses comes from two streams: reclaimed wood, which is low-grade wood resulting from activities such as roadside maintenance or sustainable forest management and is no longer usable for other purposes, and recycled wood, which has come to the end of its life as a kitchen cupboard or floor, for instance.
