All around the globe our colleagues are committed to helping other people
As Unilin Group, how can we make a difference for society and the community we are a part of? By taking initiatives as a company but also through our employees. All around the world they go to great lengths to contribute.
School desks for an orphanage in Malaysia
Unilin Malaysia, where we produce our parquet floors, donated desks and benches to a nearby orphanage that is home to thirty children.
They are inspected before delivery to make sure they are still serviceable. After a lick of paint and some odd repairs the furniture is ready for use at the children’s school.
A pine tree decorated with surprises in the UK
In the holiday season Unilin Insulation in the UK always puts up a shiny Christmas tree. Mind you, not just any tree but their traditional ‘Christmas gift free’ in aid of the organisation ‘Mission Christmas by Cash for Kids’. The aim of the organisation is to help underprivileged families. Their goal? To ensure that every child has a Christmas present to unwrap on Christmas morning.
HR Advisor Eleanor Fitzgerald explains: "We decorate the ‘Christmas gift tree’ with cards stating the age of a child and a gift idea. Subsequently our colleagues pick a card and buy a suitable gift. Once all the presents are under the tree ‘Mission Christmas by Cash for Kids’ makes sure the kids receive them.”

Thanks to our Dutch colleagues their new accommodations were fitted with a new 80m² floor of the Beautifloor brand - the ‘Henegouwen Chatelet’.
